I recently saw a hot rod in a magazine (can't remember which one)....the guy had stripped the paint, sanded the bare metal, then went over it with steel wool or something similar, to make that "Delorean" look. Instead of a clear coat, he just wipes it down regularly with machine oil and wd-40, which keeps it from rusting after a light rain.

Naw, that's awesome.. it's called use whatever works.
Was thinking that it's a good sign that your route into work is a little off the beaten path when you see moose along the road on the way in.. and that just happened to me last week. But if I want to see more moose, think I need to try the dung trick. Just don't use moose urine on the car, don't think that Festivas were designed to be mounted by humping moose..Carz:
