Thats not the first time I have seen a Festiva ad say German Engineering. Like Genevadirt said, I think they get it confused with the Fiesta, but it wouldn't be the first and it wont be the last time.

I'm driving a german engineered passat right now and I think its overly complicated and the parts are way over priced. they can keep their engineering.

                  Ditto times a billion.

I've formulated a theory that German imports are revenge for WWII

Thats funny... Makes me miss my German engineered (I don't know how they just said german engineered, the entire car was german, from its Kent 1.6l, to the rear opening hood!) Ford Fiesta... It was a 1976 yellow with brown vinyl interior. Seriously a solid little car. The engine was pretty beat before I ever got it.
