  • Hi everyone

I couldn't find an introduction or show-off forum, so I guess I'll just post this here. Someone can move this thread if theres a better place for it.

Anyways, I'm Charka, obviously haha. I live just south of Pittsburgh, PA. I got my aspire a couple months ago for $75. I cleaned up the bottom of the car and undercoated/painted it, cleaned and painted the rims, then took apart the brakes and cleaned them all up and it passed inspection like that the beginning of this month.
In the past couple weeks I have changed the oil and tranny fluid, put in custom brass shifter bushings, replaced the worn out hatch lift supports, replaced the outer tie rods and gotten an alignment. The car seems pretty reliable now, and it does it's job well (keeps miles off of my spec v). It's the perfect pizza delivering car lol. The best part, only 52,000 miles!

Other than some stains the interior is mint!

I was the first person to ever sit in the back seat lol.

    And one of my Spec:p

52,000 miles and only $75.00??

Who is the 'tard that let that car go so cheap??

Yeah, the original owner is a guy my dad works with. The inspection ran out in March and he was just going to sell it for scrap because he has a couple other cars. My dad offered him scrap price for it and he agreed. When he called me to ask if I wanted to buy a running car for $75 I thought he was messing with me. I didn't believe him until the guy handed me the key to take a test drive lol.

Wow! What a deal. Your Aspire looks in really good shape inside and out. What year is it?

About the only thing better would be "free."

Oh yeah, welcome! And I'd be remiss if I didn't mention our next Ohiostiva meet. Go here for the info:

I think the Aspire would look cool in that burnt orange color.

Yeah, I figured that there would at least be a show off page. It's cool though, I just felt like breaking the ice haha.
Tax, title, plate, notary was all like ~$125 . But after all that, parts, alignment, first month insurance, and inspection plus the price of the car I've only got like $400 in it .

Anyways, good eyes man. I do live in Canonsburg. How the hell did you do that? haha
