ok i checked the float level, and it was good. i also made sure the float was floating. every thing seems good, it just wont run! any other suggestions? thanks!

What type of air filter are you using?
Also does it run better with it off?
^makes it have more air to compensate for your too much fuel problem.
Also I know that bike has a points ignition system. How's the gap on the points?
Another suggestion is a hotter plug. Remember NGK the "lower" the number the "hotter" the plug

i havent looked at the points at all. it fires with the plug out and on the cylinder head though. would that not mean that that stuff is ok?89 L, hopefully returning from the dead soon with a little more power... :twisted:

Yeah I agree... . CHeck the Air filter and the Jets... Make sure the jets arent over sized for some reason..... It may have been rejetted incorrectly in the past...Previous owner of a '89 Graphite L, 4spd, GL Seats, Aspire Brakes, 14x6's, 185/60/14'sComment
