my friend is looking for a sportier car for a toy. he wants a triumph, mg, or something like a toyota mr2. i needed to get away from my wife before i said anything that could ruin the impending mother's day and my friend had his friend's brand new gti for borrowing his truck. he had just turned a honda street bike and had a little cash.
anyways after blasting from washington down to salem in the gti, we were driving through salem into a more agricultural area and there were tons of aspires. i was contemplating dry knocking a house with 200 cash but chickened out for fear of spousal repercussions. during the drive of shame home, without the p.o.s. mr2, i had said maybe the gti was the wrong car to drive before test driving the mr2, and when i asked hime which was more fun to drive, the mr2, or the festiva, he admitted the festiva was more fun.
he's not sold yet, but i am trying.
so, if you are in driving distance of salem, oregon, there are lots just sitting around. crazy. not a festy seen, but aspires galore.
