Ahhh the chinese turbos. Those turbos are great if you buy them and immediately rebuild them with legit internals. If not dont waste your time. You can make any turbo fit if you have the power. Nothing is going to fit on your stock Festiva manifold so a custom manifold is in order.

Has caught the most Festivas on Fire on this board!!

Everything is custom on these cars bud. There is no aftermarket.

an engine swap would be your best bet if you want to go turbo..

Ask eye-of-ra about how to make big power from your B3.

Waiting to "behold the power" of Ra...

That sized turbo is too big for my ranger v6, unless i had a performance low compression rebuild. I would look into t2 size turbos, easy to find on many cars. T3 size is a little larger but even more easy to find.

An aspire manifold is tubular and a flange for what turbo you decide can be attached. Most people who can do this on their own also make a custom exhaust, which is a bummer because a lot of guys including myself would be happy with stock mounting locations and the ability to re-use the cat/downpipe they just bought (cough). I am casually trying to PM guys who say they are making items, but several of them get hung up and swap in the oem b6t or get an engine such as the BP which has gobs of oem and aftermarket turbo support.

I can't believe you referenced "Eye of ra" lol.
The turbo game is an expensive one...especially if you're learning as you go.
The advice of simply doing an engine swap is sound and less expensive. That being said, if you insist on doing the turbo thing, consider the ebay ching chong meow "kkk ko3" sized turbo for your needs. Picking too large a turbo for your project can net you no gains at all, because you can end up with one so large that you engine will never be able to hit the "sweet spot".
You will have to make-up the exhaust mani and set up the oil and coolant lines of course (you do want a turbo with coolant features, watch out for turbos devoid of this). Here are a couple of idea picks for you to work with:
You could start with a stock manifold like this and mod it to accept a turbo flange like next pic for cheap:

The setup below however is totaly from scratch:
This first pic is from underneath, pay attention to the oil and coolant line runs on these:

What you're NOT seeing in these pic's is a $500 digitally controlled methanol injection system, a $130 02 sig modifier, and a $130 Forge bypass valve, $300 worth of stainless fittings and tig welding, and a$$orted reuseable -an fitting$.
This is no "eye-of-ra" pipe dream...this is "eye of podium boy real deal stuff" lol
Good luck and keep us posted with your pic's huh.

Of course it's a b6, (it's in the sig) but for illustrative purposes and since the blocks are the same, I know the k03 will work for him because it's A: very small, B: inexpensive, and C: are plentiful.
I've got boost at 2,500 in second gear. Of course "Individual results may vary" lol.

I put an embarassing amount of time into the research, design, parts aquisition, parts assembly, and total cost. The good news is it has exceeded my expectations and I learned a TON about doing this from scratch. Nobody I knew personally had done this, so that made it harder, but in the end, way worth all of the time and money and effort...you know, for me. The knowledge gained is invaluable. I wouldn't recommend it for the typical "cai" installer though lol.
You know what I'm talkin about Euro huh.
