I know I am new to the Festiva world, and you guys probably don't know me yet, but I wanted to share my accomplishments and be boastful anyways. I went to my first auto-x the weekend before last with my Geo Metro. I have spent many hours of work and research on that car and I was pleasantly surprised when I took second the first day and then 1st on Sunday! I have a total of no more than $1000 in my Metro and the Corvette guys were in awe! I can't wait to start on this Festiva! I honestly bought it for an economical daily driver but you guys have all the parts support in the world! It will be hard not to spend all my hard earned money on this car! I hope I can share some of my tricks with you guys and learn a lot from you in return. Power be to the little cars that could!

Currently, my Festiva is a bone stock 1.3l from 1988. It has a bad carb and runs like crap! I have a new carb coming from a member here and I hope to get it in order soon! I have never had nightmares about a car until I saw the vacuum diagram on the underside of the hood, Hopefully I can figure out what is what and what is necessary on this thing!

Nope, not a gt, it is a geo metro that I put a 1.3 sohc in. It is not even the Dohc.
