  • Festiva Tinkerer Challenge

For those of you guys that like to do things that haven't been done or just like to do things because, I have a challenge for you, and I will pay you for the completed challenge. I would like a pair of front corner lights, that the orange lens have been successfully removed. In other words, I need a pair of unbroken housings and a pair of unbroken lenses.
Maybe the way to accomplish the feat is to use 2 full sets, break the lens out so we have good housings from one set, then break the housing off the good set of lenses. It's up to you, but I need a set as described above.

    Thanks,
    Dan "Levitan"

no but its been done before. a guy i work with has a yukon and he boiled his to remove the orange plastic that sits behind the actual lens

i just would hate to see two pairs destroyed when (if?) it could be done without destroying any

edit; if you dont have an extra set i do have a set on the 'bay right now

Acetone may also do the trick. R/C guys often use it to remove tires from rims that have been super glued on.

By the way, ^^^ That's 99.9% city driving

You ARE kidding right? I have 9 Festivas, a 40' long wall, 10' high, of shelves full of Festy parts, I might be able to find an extra set somewhere...LOL!!!!!! I just didn't know the solution to the problem. Now I will solve it.
