My new donor car

Got this from my bro in law today!
1994 protege LX 5speed BP!
came with swoopies too...
motor was rebuilt at about 180,000 miles(has 240,000 now)
whole car was painted and inside looks good besides driver seat.
the motor has a VC leak, but runs strong and doesnt smoke.
Taking the motor out and using it instead of the other one i got in the shop on the stand. Since i know this one RUNS.
also taking the swoopies off too.
but unsure of what to do with the rest of the car,"scrap/sell as shell."

the grill is not wide enough. but i saved the console out of mine and im using it. door panels did look like they would work.

got the motor and trans pulled(trans went to sparky)
thanks to sparky and his nephew for all there help.
going to take out ECU tonight and get my car ready for the swap.
gonna try to part it out/sell whole car on CL this week.
by friday, its going to junk yard to to pay for aspire swap.

It was a decent Protege, but it was a better donor...the paint covered a number of things. Some of you might recall that I asked about Escort GT 5-speed transmissions and if the Proteges with the BP engine had the same tranny....according to Club Protege, they do.(thanks FB-71!) We'll find out for certain this week as my nephew's mechanic puts the tranny from this Protege into the old 'Scort.
