  • Tilt steering!!

    Went to one of my local junk yards today, SCORED a nice tilt sterring collum with intermitint wiper switch, (Sorry about my spelling im SUPER dislecik), 30 bucls for both, awesome deal, Also got the combo under dash ehifter colum cover for 5 bucks, 87' wreked, their loss my gain you know?!?!

        Sweet !! They dont tilt much but its the extra option that counts.

          lazy

          I like to drive with my seat reclining back a bit and the steering wheel down low. I prefer tilt.
          If anyone else would like a tilt column, PM me, and I'll pull one for for you at a yard I know that has one still in it.

            Sick bro....LOVE IT!!!..........moved my wheel closer......and the adjustability is cool......LOVE IT......But havin an issue with drivind lights not workin....used the same inter mitint wiper switch and headlight switch but headlights are the only thing that works.......NO driving lights.....Lucky for me I caught it befoer I drove lond gistance at night...sucks.....really wanted to cruise CT this night..........just goin to put old headlight back in...........And to make it worse my brights dont work..short in swithch......WAS happy bout new switch but oh well you know fellow festiva brothers..........

                      Use the 88-89 trim for the column and you won't have the gap where it tilts - the 88-89 LX trim is all one piece as apposed to two sperate covers(not to beconfused with the two halfs that go around the columb to make one) I'll see if I can get a pic of what I'm talkingabout - but as soon ans you see the trim piece you'll know exactly what I'm talking about

                        I took my column out of a 89 LX and I didnt even notice that.
