  • Well that sucked!

I installed a new garage door opener last weekend and in the process of doing this I dropped a wrench and it hit my green car leaving a small scratch on the pass door. I knew I should have put the cover on it.....................

At least the whole opener didn't fall..........I've seen it happen. The previous home owner had just used drywall anchors to hold it up. A friend of mine had just rented the house and we moved most of his extra furniture into the garage for temporary storage. When we hit the remote to close the door it made it half way down and then the whole opener came crashing down on top of his furniture. Good thing his new Toyota or even worse, one of his kids, wasn't under it.

I tease him all the time about buying a new Toyota Tundra. He bought it just weeks before the big recall. I will say, it's better than the '07 Silverado he traded in. That thing was in for warranty repair more times than I can list within the first 25K miles! And, it rattled worse than my Festiva does with 147K and FMS springs with 50 series tires.

Well only one thing to do!
And I wouldn't do this for just anyone.

I'll be by later this week to pick it up and get it out of your sight.
I have a white LX in need of front hubs I can leave in place of your green one!

It could have been worse, the whole garage door could have fell on it!

Sorry to hear, but two kids can be rougher on a new paint job. PU241 can vouch for me on that one. And yes no kids were harmed, even though I thought about it.

Brian...... What is the paint code, and what kind of paint. BC/CC, Urethane, Acrylic Enamel? Obviously it was a color you picked out, so I hope you saved the label. Biggest problem is getting a good touch up blended in.
