:thumbright:The Shogun wasn't built by Ford, it was built by Chuck Beck (chassis fabricator for the Shelby GT-350 and Ford’s GT-40 racing programs) and Rick Titus (SCCA endurance champion) with styling input from Peter Brock (Shelby Daytona Coupe and Superformance coupe designer). It used the NA 3.0 Yamaha V6 from the Taurus SHO (seen through the rear window of this picture. Its straight-line performance was about the equivalent of a stock Elise and had a 1.04 g skidpad number, but I don't know about its dynamic handling capabilities. Seven of them were built...one of them for Jay Leno

They're interesting, but for more practicality you can stick in a BP-T and still have rear seats and a trunk area. And it's a lot cheaper and easier to build too.90 Festy (Larry)--B6M (Matt D. modified B6 head), header, 5-speed, Capri XR2 front brakes, many other little mods
09 Kia Rondo--a Festy on steroids!
