It's, um, different. Interesting the way he did the back end. Most people just cut it behind the door pillar. I'm with Glow-mouse as well. If I ever happen upon one that say, a tree has fallen on the back end, I'm trucking it. Just can't bring myself to do it to any of mine, because the bodies are so solid.

I just can't see myself converting any festiva to a truck ever, I think the look doesn't suit festivas

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

I like that rear end style more than the cut B-pillar one. Reminds me of the Chevy Avalanche. He should trade that front end monstrosity for a coat of paint!

What a pile of YUCK! It might have looked OK before he added the hideous grill.

The good thing is, the hood/grill combo looks to be simply fastened over the stock hood/grill. In the link I can make out the "Ford" emblem in the stock grill. Plus you can see a small portion of the stock grill by the headlight.

I like how they brought the back corners up to the back of the cab. Reminds of the bed to a chevy avalanche.

Are you talking how they moved the "C" pillar to make the small quarter window? I like that.
Yet they aren't windows; almost has a Maserati Merak "flying buttress" look to it. Almost. If you squint. Hard.
If it has boobs or wheels, sooner or later you're going to have trouble with it.
