  • How many Festiva owners own rx7's?

Im about to aquire an 88 rx7 tonight. Air con, full power everything. GXL model.

I like that my festivas getting a friend. A mazda brother if you will. Basically i wanted something that would keep the miles off my festiva, but also give me ac, and a fun ride.

Wondering if any other Festiva owners also have rx7's, or miatas?

Same here, plus a little Mazda MPV, and a little Honda Accord. And rust. Lots and Lots of rust.

Well here it is, and apparently i also might own a cheap miata soon. When it rains it pours.

some pics of the rx7 gxl.

in the last pic, most of the interior pieces have been painted black to cover up that horrible blue. Seats are still the same color. Im looking for some interior pieces. But as far as running and driving, its great, pulls strong. I think the most surprising thing about the car is the handeling. I cant get over how this thing turns.

I also like telling people its got a 1.3L same as my festiva, just the festiva makes 47 hp per litre, and the RX7 makes 112 hp per litre.

Pics make it look better than it is, its covered in dings, and missing plastic pieces.

Not any more but bought a new '79 then later a near new '83. Technically better than the 1st gen but just personal, I've never been partial to the style of the 2nd gen. In fact I even liked the 79 better than the 83. I guess I'm just a ludite and subscribe to the school of KISS. Overall, I've owned five from the Mazda family of cars.
Suddenly LOL, who gives a squat what I drive? <grin> "Some people talk when they have something to say. Some people talk just because they have to say something."

An rx-7 with no turbo is like a brand new 60" TV with no HD array in use.

I've been around hotrods my whole life. I've ridden in an 800rwhp Nova, and my own Mustang makes 365hp at the wheels and has parts waiting to make it faster. That said, the fastest car i've ever driven myself was a twin turbo '87 RX7. It made around 30psi and was absolutely insane at full boost. If i wasn't a Mustang guy i would more than likely be playing with Wankels.

By the way, ^^^ That's 99.9% city driving

                            what tunner said lol

and ur rx-7 is outright sexy btw, nice find, turbo it, put a nice sound system in it, put halo ring headlights with HID's in it, and tint the windows (couldnt really tell for sure if it was already done) and you'll really have the sexiest car ever man
