Sounds like a good goal to start with :thumbleft: I had a 09 FIT that I got 55 MPG through the mountains and back with both uphill and downhill.

This is entirely plausible. My B6rt got 40.0 on a test run, at a constant 60 MPH. No surprise that 50 - 55 MPH would give you 47 MPG, because of less air/wind resistance. Good for you!
My B3 at 55 MPH gave me 58.5 MPG BTW.Last edited by TominMO; 07-11-2010, 11:18 AM.

B3 MPG from my B6T!
Just drove this route last night coming from the capri meet. Topped off in Walkerton for 40.7 mpg. Topped off again at home in Fayette... 47.2 mpg!!! Granted it was quite a boring drive, Indiana is easily the most boring state Ive ever been in, and to top it off I did 50-55 the whole way. It was night time and Im paranoid of hitting deer with my festy. Ironically the only one I saw was a doe about 5 miles from home.
I would be slightly skeptical about the MPG seeing as it was only a quarter tank. Small fillups tend to skew MPG calculations, but I would say its entirely possible since I was driving slow for a long period of time.
Oh yeah, this was AFTER I added the rocketchip ecu.
