he had a well thought out and realistic post. He negated their thoughts for how crappy they think the festiva is.

Posted another comment anyway:
Background. I am a talker. Mike is not. But there is one secret formula that I can always depend on to get him to talk. I will ask him a que...
Just in case it is deleted before you get to see it:
"Clear you shouldn't takes Mike's opinions too seriously,
Because he knows not what he speaks in regard to the Ford Festiva.
It is a Ford only in name, the only Ford parts are the front and back badges and the logo in the steering wheel. It has a Mazda engine and was built in South Korea, so very little "Fordness". I expect this to be deleted, but thought you should know the truth!"'93 Blue 5spd 230K(down for clutch and overall maintanence)

I'd like to bask in the blogger's "shizzyness""Lane, I've been going to this high school for seven and a half years. I'm no dummy."

Every time you see one you're amazed it's still running. I guess that happens a lot. Because there are thousands and thousands still on the road. Do know why because the festiva (a Mazda designed, Kia assembled car) is the best car ever made. Not one of the best. THE best. Why? Insane bang for the buck. Unsurpassed reliability and durability. I know you are shocked at this point at what I said. Prepare for more shock. I have seen dozens with 300,000 miles. More shock?! I have seen 8 with 500,000 miles. I have seen one with 360,000 original miles on the original .... Get ready ...... Engine, transmission, starter, alternator, and.... AND CLUTCH!!!! *Try carsurvey.org see if you can find a bad review. Oh wait there is one. His complaint? It won't die. *Ready for more surprises?? You can find festivas all over YouTube whipping a new GTO, a lancer, a WRX, and other heavy hitters at the track with simple cheap tiny motor swaps. I'm talking mazda 1.8 and 1.6 turbo engines. So in summary they are bullet proof, THE cheapest total cost of operation car, and major bang for buck beasts when modded. We are a legion of festiva minions ready to prove it.
My ford festiva at englishtown, NJ in 2004 takin it to a guy with a brand spankin new GTO. poor guy! lol
