  • finally gave up on the obx header

After 2 unsuccessful tries to buy an obx header for my bp, I decided to give the other guy a try. I bought a pacesetter header on Amazon.com for $139.00 with free shipping. The best part is they actually had one and shipped it quickly. I have read a lot of bad things about these headers along with a few good things so I have my fingers crossed. They seem to be of good build quality, heavy tubes and flanges. I did a little sound clip before without header and one after the install. The rest of the exhaust was left untouched. Still has 2" cherrybomb glasspac, 2-1/4" summit louvered resonator and a 2-1/2 summit resonator tip. Oh and I forgot the 2" magnaflow hiflow cat before any of it, right behind the collector.I was surprised the exhaust is quieter with the header but has a better tone. doesn't sound farty anymore. What do you think? The first clip is before header and the second is after. I know the clips are not the same place but still should give you an idea.

Thanks. Yeah my suspension is worse than dead. That was also before my allignment. Made a huge difference. Doesn't try to go sideways on takeoff any more. The torque steer is manageable now. Before it was scary.
