  • Where should I get my parts?

I am in the midst of rebuilding a B8 and I was wondering where I should get all the stuff I need? Im going to replace the main crank bearings, rod bearings, rings, and I need head bolts. Should I get them from a dealership, rock auto or any mcparts store...im thinking the quality would be the best if I get them from a dealership but I just wanted everyones opinion. Thanks.

I'd go with RockAuto myself, using one of the discount codes available on the forum.

Not sure abut service, but as far as price goes, they seem to be the best choice.

Price wise Rock Auto. service wise local parts store. You really got to do your homework before you order something. I believe that shipping stuff back will be a hassle on Rock Auto.
