  • I met a local festiva enthusiest tonight!!

I finally met another local guy that wants to do up a festiva!! the guy is 18 and his name is Josh, he just got his festiva on the road (91 L) not that long ago and its in pretty good shape

Josh i guess has seen me driving around before he got his car on the road and had an idea that mine was far from stock, and well tonight he got to see all thats done to it, i took him for a ride in mine and he's pretty impressed and wants me to do an engine swap for him  at first he wanted me to do a KL swap in his car, but that'd take me too long for a car thats not mine, especially when i have a couple of my own projects coming up

We'll probably do a BP/F-series swap, i think he'd be more then happy with that

And of course i told him about this site and hopefully soon he joins up!!

2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

Very cool! Did you tell him to sign up on the board? Never hurts to have another member here and there. Besides, I need a place to buy my F-series mounts from!

I probably won't make mounts for re-selling, although i have considered it

Liability or time-related issues? I do have other places to get them, just scoping out the market haha.

Haha good! Just making sure. If I tried to weld mounts for a swap, my transmission would transmit metal all over the highway. The only RPM my engine would get would be rolling down the hill.
