Probably 2000lbs. That is with no engine, trans, hatch or ignition switch in it but it was used as a trailer to help me move from my old house to the new house.

Has caught the most Festivas on Fire on this board!!

No way. No Festiva ever weighed that much fully equipped. Consumer Guide 1993 edition sez "just over 1700 lbs" in one place and 1713 in another, as the average weight. Probably the weight for a bare-bones model. Depends on how it is equipped of course, but auto trans, A/C, radio, rear wiper and washer would only add about 50-60 lbs.

I once went to the scrap yard with a load of scrap metal and they weighed my car at 1800 pounds without me in it. (They said there was about a 20 lb. leeway in the measurement.)

It was my stock '92L 5 speed with full size spare, no rear seat, about half a tank of gas and maybe thirty pounds of stuff in it (which cancelled out the missing rear seat).
