Just had to pay my tax bills and I'm wondering what you other guys have to pay in taxes for your festiva/s? My bill was $36.87 for the year

Mine last year was $20 (state tag renewal fee whether its a Yugo or a Lambo) plus $5.83 in actual taxes.No festiva for me ATM... -
I paid $8 tax on my festiva when I first bought it, and I won't have to pay taxes on it again

I don't pay taxes on it but registration every two years is the same for all vehicles. I think its up to about $80 bucks now.Comment

Sales tax here in IL is % of purchase price. There is a minimum but don't know what it is. $99 per year for license tags. That's a bite. If the title is in your name, you have to pay even if car isn't on the road. If not you pay for the gaps + penalty when it gets on the road. There is some way around this with a affidavit filed with Sect. of State. Probably more $$. On top of that, we have a city vehicle tax in my town of $20 per car.Comment
