  • EGT rear disks

I didn't want to derail EVOGUN's Festiva Parts thread so I'll ask here.
For those who have actually completed a EGT rear disk conversion, does the Escort rotor/hub/bearing/seal fit right on the Festiva or Aspire rear spindle? If not, how is it done.

Do you then go to an adjustable proportioning valve?

no it does not, you would have to machine the aspire drums down into a rotor hub.

That makes sense. So you have to drill a new bolt pattern in either the machined hub or the rotor *hat*? I'm not actually going to do the swap. A question that crossed my mind while watching football. :-)

      Might help someone else though.

you shouldn't if you use an aspire drum for your hub.

OK. I wasn't sure of the pattern.
There were some pics posted some time back. Gonna try to find 'em.
