My buddy is shutting his mazda protege down next weekend. I get the dohc motor and tranny out of it. My car is an 89 festiva so I no from what i read I have to rewire the car from the 90 plus... So how do you keep the vacuum dizzy after rewire?? I seen somebody on here had one with a dohc vacuum dizzy. How did you run it and use the 90 plus wiring.

Protege I believe has a MAF, not a VAF depending on the year, and just follow the engine intake to the air box and it will be another black box in the "tubing" connecting the two.
