I'm just about ready to sell cream puff. NO engine or trans mods. I will be taking off my irreplaceable goodies. Flaps, tray, custom trailer hitch bumper, 15"s and spoiler. I will be replacing the bumper with a stocker and the wheels with 13" aspire wheels. While not drivetrain modded the whole suspension and brakes have been aspire swapped. It now handles like a go cart. 130K AC and it's called cream puff for a reason. Not set on a dollar amount yet but am very close to ready to sell.

And yes that is the elusive 90LX. The holy grail of festivas. Of course no rust.

My neighbor has a yellow one with the special black hatch trim, black oem wheels, beauty rings etc and i ask her about once a month to sell it. It's under 100k and has the time capsule quality to it. If you know them you love them.

I offered her husband a b6 swapped auto and 500 bucks and they said no. That is some dedication.

I cant sell my 93 auto because I cut the fenders and I want to mate the auto to a b6t. Thus cream puff is on the block.

Well, when/if you decide to sell, talk to me. I'm only 70 miles from you.

Any interior photos to go with the nice exterior ones?

The Aspire swap is a good upgrade so I hear, other than that, the closer to stock the better.

Put it on ice for awhile, you can keep it w/o registration and insurance. Whats rational got to do with it ? If owning festys has to be rational, Im doomed If something happened to the other ones ( god forbid ) where will you find another cream puff 90LX ???? Besides I like to know its in good hands.

It's stock other than the brake/suspension swap.
No interior shots I guess. I'll try to hook that up. The interior is in good shape with a few flaws.
And there is this video. This is pre aspire swap.
Oh I also did the rear wiper mod since the video. That always seemed to be the way it should have come from the factory to me. Oh and the jingle in the video is mine. Shameless plug. B^)
This video is of my 22nd Ford festiva. I've been calling it cream puff because of the condition and the low miles (121,000). It is optioned out from the fact...

I was doing that with the white GL I'm DD'ng now. Had it on ice that is. And I had the 90 L plus in the yard too. I sold that to kumalaba. I'm in the city. They came down on me. I'm not as cool as you with a festiva warehouse. Shoot a whole ranch. I live on 1/4 acre. I have the BP/G25 that's been sitting clogging up my dad's garage for a year and a half. I need to make a trade to get that wired. Skeeter's keeper started it and did a lot. I don't know what it lacks. I've been needing to make a decision for a while. I would rather have 2 festivas exactly the way I want them and switch out the tags and insurance when I feel like it. It costs me $2 to do that! 8) The city won't allow me to have any unregistered uninsured cars visible in my yard. I can hide one.

Good hands is it? :nono: What am I, chopped liver? What makes you think that my hands are any less good than anyone else's?

My current little Festy was a deer-strike salvage that kids used to use for a field car with only three wheels on it. It's had 45,000 miles put on it since I got it .... I'll bet I can do as good a job as anyone of keeping one on the road and taking care of it. :flower:

On the other hand, you never know ... the little car may be safe where it is. NeanderPaul may be VERY attached (:love6 to the Cream Puff, we'll find out after we get together!

                            Spread the happiness!

Don't worry Lannis, freshtiva is one of the three types of festiva obsessed people. I am another. Nobody can compete with Marcus on buying, restoring, maintaining, and PROTECTING festivas. Most all of us have the disease. Marcus just has a little perfectionist twist on it. I wish I had his talent, resources, and property!

I'm using plenty of clever emoticons so I hope no one is taking me too seriously ...

To "buying, restoring, maintaining, and PROTECTING", we must immediately add DRIVING, because that's the part I like. Buying takes money (and I'm really tight); maintaining, restoring, and protecting all require long evenings in the shop of getting greasy, which is not my favorite thing although I do what is necessary ...

... but DRIVING even my little rag-tail Festiva is fun! Half the weight and size of most of the behemoths on the road, two to three TIMES the gas mileage, and I'm taking off from lights with everyone else and cruising at 65 MPH when the road allows it.

I get to laugh at almost everyone else on the road ... except the other Festivas, and our cousins the Geos and the Suzuki Swifts .....
