  • Rear Wheel Falls OFF

ops: My daughter bought a Festiva about a year ago from a car lot. I didn't check the rear axle nuts that attach the wheels. The passenger side fell off. Some INTELLIGENT person Who ever had the car before put the drum on did not use the correct 16 mm axle nut (the crush nut). Now I put it back together with new 16mm nut, bearings, and grease seal and the tire rubs when you turn the car left. My question is can this be fixed by an alignment if the rear is align-able kind (4 wheel)or is it back to the jack and replace bent parts?

    Thanks

There are no real alignment points for the rear suspension. Your going to have to replace or bend it back but replacement is best. Time for a aspire swap?

Is it the drum assembly that's bent?

    Thanks

      What's the tire rubbing on?

Actually, if it's rubbing on just about anything, it's probably pretty bent.

      TIME FOR THE ASPIRE SWAP!!
