        Hopefully insurance covered it all! Although, I dont think the car would be covered under the property/farm insurance???

                WOW! I know I would be upset and depressed. Did you ever get another festiva? I know sometimes I get frustrated with my festiva, but if it ever burned downed like that I would be devestated.
                Man should eat when he can for Man does not know when his last meal will be.

                  Hope you can have insurance cover all your losses, though I know some things aren't really "replaced."

                      the hay didnt combust it was lit... but thats another story all together.
                      insurance offered me $387 for the car and its contents....

                      im searching for another festy but there isnt much to choose from here in my section of ny.

                        You dont have to accept that offer! Tell them to find one that is that price, in perfect running condition that yours was in (of course it was!).

                        Around here, no matter what, you get replacement value for the vehicle. I even go as far as printing off a list of cars similar to the one that gets destroyed, and then showing it to the insurance provider........They legally have to give you enough to go out and buy another!

                            im going to check out 2 festys the day after x-mas the guy dosnt know what year or anything just know there ford festivas he wasnt sure if theye were manuals or not.... hopefully there not junk.
                            insurance upped there offer to $421 saying that due to milage of mine over 250,000 the car was a ticking time bomb to die... i told em 250 is just gettin broke in for a festy.

                              we should all write statements of our festivas running perfect at 200k 250k or yelofestivas 400k on original clutch motor and tranny
