    Okay so here is a brochure for a 1975 mazda 121, how did our car possibly evol from this???

      If memory serves, that model was sold here in Canada as the Mazda Cosmo.

        From the windshield back it reminds me of a AMC Hornet or a Matador , and the front looks like a Toyota Cressida

            it does sort of have an AMC matador look to it. looks a bit funky to me... wonder if there is any vintage collectability in early model imports? ha ha ha... hey, it happened with the VW!

              The RX-5 was the Wankel (rotary) engine version of that ´75 121.
              The 4 cyl piston version was referred to as 121.
