    Rust Preventive Paint

    Picked up a flyer at the automotive finish store for Chassis Saver rust preventative paint.
    It may be of interest.

    POR-15.... best there is.
    Trees aren't kind to me...

    currently: 2 88Ls (Scrappy and Jersey), 88LX, 90L(Pepe), 91L, 91GL (Skippy) 93 GL Sport (the Mighty Favakk), 94 (Bruce) & 95 Aspire SEs, 97 Aspire (The Joker),
    94 Justy 4WD, 87 Fiero GT, plus 2 parts cars. That's my fleet.

      Yep. Don't get it on your skin, ask me how i know.

      I'll be doing the whole engine bay of my Mustang in this stuff when it gets out of the paint shop. It's supposed to be able to withstand hammering without chipping but i've never tried it.

      By the way, ^^^ That's 99.9% city driving :cool:

        Eastwood also sells lots of good paints (rustproof and what not.)

          Use it in a well ventilated place though. The fumes are bad for you.
