Two dead car batteries: one nearly new

I ran down the battery in Muttstiva and let it go for a month or two.

The '92L I just bought had a nearly new (under a year old) battery in it and it was low. I let it go (no idea how long it was low though).

I took them to A-Zone a couple days ago and they checked both batteries. They said neither one would hold a charge.

It's not that I don't trust A-Zone, but I'd like to get a battery charger anyway. I'll try charging these up and see for myself.

Anything I can do with these batteries, or are they just "cores" now?

BTW, so far the Odyssey "half-size battery" in Luxstiva has been doing fine with the 6 ga. main wire and ground.

If a battery is low or dead and it freezes, or is stored in a really cold place when in this condition usually it is done and cannot be charged.
