xr2 parts are hard to find so yeah they r expensive...if you have a dolly and a truck check out renos cl.there is a guy that has two capris for sale an n-a and a xr2 the n-a runs and drives the xr2 runs but has no plates i guess.i would buy the xr2 at the most 400 and tow it back.
its best to buy a whole car in the shape this one is...there are lots u just have to look and be patient.

The dist. Is more on ebay. The ecu costs the same and the vaf I want to match the ecu. And I've heard that if u have a capri harness u must use capri ecu, dist, ect to make it work properly.

Just slip the ecu and/or knock box in your toolbox If they do find it say you left it in there to carry it around and forgot. Or you can wear a jacket with those inside pockets.

If you plan to get the rocketchip it would be easier to just buy an ecu from Rocketman for $250.

The ecu will be "forgotten" and I will buy a chip from rocketman, carharts have some pretty nice pockets lol and how big is the knock box? Almost nobody at this junkyard speeks english and the only person who does is at the front desk and every time I go in there I jew them down on price lol a little haggling goes a long way!

I love salem's junk yards, their cars are all complete most of the time.well im talking about 8 years ago,i dont know if their the same...we use to go to a towing place and got cars for 150 to 400 dollars...one time we got a ford tempo red-red like new.the guy said 175 we got him down to 150..it was running really rough and my brother saw what it was before buying it.we paid my bro puts the missing cable on the spark plug and the guy was pissed.he wanted to raise the price..it was kind of funny.

Yeah there is only 3 in salem now but like 5 miles out of town in turner oregon is the one I go to bc they don't realize the value of a lot of things. I'm problay gunna tel them that the capri stuff is out of a 323 bc they won't know the difference and they will cahrge less bc its less desired of a car for parts lol. But if u say festiva half the time they will just let me take small stuff like window cranks ect.
