Oh yeah! I averaged 47-48 in the summer and am averaging 43-44 in the winter. Mine is manual though, so an auto will get less.

                        I run a carb'd 89, 5spd
My daily round trip is 90 miles.
                        If I run 55-65, 2500-2700rpm cruising I get between 45 and 52 mpg easy.
Push it above 65 and the mpg drops alot. Worst tank was right at 38mpg.

I usually get around 32 all city, but once winter hit my mpg dropped like a rock. I checked my plugs the other day (which don't have 10k on them yet) and they were fouled so i'm hoping new plugs corrects some of the problem.

By the way, ^^^ That's 99.9% city driving
