I'm as happy as puppy with two peters. 
Finally got all the fusible link crap figured out. Still wont start on the first turn of the key(might be the starter/noid/ground/inter-lock???) but it does start on the second or third.
The lights are way brighter than they have ever been and the auto seat belts flay back and forth. Seems those old links/strips of wire that someone put in where not making the electrical system very happy.
One thing, I could not find 15 amp links so I went with 20 amps. Hopefully this wont cause a problem. :?:
Re-wired a bunch or crap but still have to do the lights (ghetto wired for now) but its alive and I drove it for the first time since before Thanksgiving. It will be nice to park my 16 mpg truck for awhile.
For a car I got to just run till it dies and toss away, it has kind of become addictive. Not that I'm looking to swap a bp into or anything but Its pretty easy to work on and a blast to drive. Almost makes me wish I had snatched that b6 that jrally had for sale in Phoenix. :twisted:
