  • My new whip

This passed week i have been very busy getting my 300zx to pass an emissions test so i could trade it for this.......

A 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee, it has a 4.7 V8 Quadtrack 4WD and it's fully loaded, it came with a valid emissions (the reason for me needing to etest my Z) and it passed a safety check this morning

the purpose with getting this is to replace my aspire as the family vehicle, mainly for the added space it has so i maybe selling an aspire brake swap soon

    1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
    1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

I thought you were talking about a leather whip. I have a nice 10 foot bull whip with a swivel handle which I bought the last time I was in Denver, Colorado. I use it to chase the squirrels away.

Ya it's a little worse on gas then my aspire  I need the bigger vehicle to carry my 4 month old baby in, I wish it had the 4.0l in it instead of the 4.7 but that's ok

Those are nice! Congrats! You wouldn't part out that beast of an aspire would you? It has really proved itself.

Cool! At least you got something thats safer for a family! I have also been thinking about getting a 4.0L Cherokee. We used to have a '88 Grand Wagoneer. It was really nice, great ride, 4X4, power everything, but was tough on gas.

I do gotta give great credit to the aspire, it has take an incredible punishment and it still runs great, except on start up in the cold mornings  but it's starting to really fall apart and I have no room to keep it around so parting it out, scrapping it, is the quickest way to get rid of it

That's because the 4.0 inline six is a torque monster with crazy durability. I'm talking REALLY durable. 300,000 is normal for those like it's normal for the B3.

I have a good list. The list is made up of vehicles I regularly see with 300,000 miles. All others fail. It's on it.

                      Festiva B3
                      90-93 Accord 2.2
inline ford 300 straight six. E- and F- series
                      4.3 Chevy V6
                      350 chevys
                      4.0 jeeps

Some contenders to get on the above list. I've seen a bunch of these with 200,000 - 250,000
                      Vibe/matrix
                      Prizm/corolla
                      3.8 GM V6's
                      1.9 escorts
                      1.8 BP escorts
Several subarus (can't keep them straight - too many good and bad ones)

ooo ya i know the 4.0 I6 is a bomb proof motor and puts out more torque that a gorilla with a impact gun..... i was just joking around with him, him wanting a smaller motor when he has the biggest motor ever put in to a festiva lol... (not including the sho gun and that v8 swapped one...)
