    a friend of my nephews needs money bad & offered me his 92 mx3 with 6cylinders 5 speed for 800 bucks its decent shape aftermarket rims, loud exhaust, a few body dings , but it seems to have a miss in it. are these good cars or should i stay away? tks danny

    Seems like a good deal to me. Don't know much about these cars but I've heard pretty good things about them, and 800 seems like a good price.

        -Mazda reliability
        -aerodynamic
        -I think they're fairly lightweight
        -as noted, drop in a larger displacement V6!

        Hmmm. What's not to like? Maybe someday I'll get one.

          I rode in one of these a good bit as my friend had one. The main thing that sticks out in my mind about the car is the road noise, and you felt like you were sitting right on the road. I liked the looks, size, and interior though. And I'm sure the road noise can be dealt with by installing some Dynamat or other insulation if it bothers you.

          It was a very solidly built, reliable car and very good on gas. Much better on gas than my 85 Calais at the time, which had a 2.5L "Tech 4" 4 cylinder.
