  • Festiva Horn Upgrade

Driving to work this morning, thought I would post a video of my new horn upgrade.

Let me preface this by saying it sounds much better in person, and much much louder than stock.

I left the stock horn hooked up and added a 2nd horn out of a 1954 Oldsmobile 88

And my car is loud because I don't have a muffler as of right now....... it is on my to-do-list

Kept the stock Festiva horn in the car........ but added a horn out of a 1954 Oldsmobile 88. Sounds much better and louder in person than the stock horn alone.

You can tell how loud it is because you can hear the 2 volumes of the stock horn and the new horn.

Has a much deeper tone to it as well I just tapped on to the 2nd horn wire that was being unused in my car. I'll get a pic of the horn mounted to the firewall later when I get home. Its a big honkin horn (literally).

Id love to have a big air horn on those occasions when people ignore you and pull out in front of you. Happens a lot when you drive a festiva.

That's what I keep wanting to do. It's on the list there somewhere.

Sounds good, Phil! You getting any double takes from people who know what a Festiva horn should sound like?
