  • Performance chips direct

Have any of you guys heard of this web site? performancechipsdirect.com is the name of it and it has chips for the festy. I wonder about a chip for my car mostly for fuel mileage but also adding some power never hurts.

sounds convincing . imma buy it next paycheck to see . or you buy it try it and tell me the results cause im building my b3 up. i will be putting fms headers, racing camshafts, lsd, new pistons, also have b8 injectors and b8 cpu, but looking ofr a better one maybe this chip wil help. also looking for a turbo kit atm. all the parts will be bought by april, i know it will cost more then a simple swap but im looking for a bp or b8 but cant find one. i will maybe go to the junyard on spring with my two mechanics on the indianapolis junyard and see if they still bp proteges which i seen a couple weeks ago, if they do then i will save for a motor swap if not all the parts im buying

Is this one of those resistor thingies??? Total scam if it is.... careful guys.

** OK, just checked out the site........ all it is.... is a resistor they are plugging in to the computer of the car. I know from the reviews I've read that it doesn't do much, if anything at all...... if someone tries it and can get verifiable results, I'd be interested to hear otherwise

I'm pretty sure this is just a .30 cent resistor though..... you can accomplish the same thing from Radio Shak

I made the mistake of getting one off ebay a couple years ago. Don't waste your money they don't do anything noticeable.

I'm thinking tortilla chips with some ridiculously fiery salsa!! But that's just me.

As for the "performance chip", I think I'd pass.
