  • What to do!

So, I need to make a choice, I was looking at a early 70's k5 blazer, and I also am looking at a fairly clean festiva, it would need a new fender, and possibly a door, also a valve cover gasket. I was going to offer 800 cash. What do you guys think? What is a festiva with a dented bumper, pushed in quarter, aleaky valve cover, and in need of a fender and adoor worth?

300$ cash. Tell them the body work costs more than the car is worth. I got mine in running condition with the typical dent in the rear fender and that was the only body damage for 400$. For 800$ it would have to be one really nice festiva.

I guesse, it has interior tears to, I'm starting to think buy it as cheap as I can and swap it. I can get a fender and door for next to nothing, then have them repainted for cost of material. Ugh, jared part is talking them down, they originally wanted 1800 for it

I thought maybe a grand since low miles, then I pooped the hood and saw oil everywhere! Funny thing is, they think every one keeps stopping to look at it, then he said three people were taking pictures, I said one was driving a blue scion tc with gold rims, he said yes, then I said, one was driving a silver prelude, once again he agreed, them I said the final was in a maroon silverado. At this point he was amazed. Then I was like , the other guy who just looked was in a saturn. He then asked how I knew all this, I replied, I know all four, pretty well, they know I love festiva, they see one they stop. lol unrelevant, but I found his reaction funny

Man the body shop would cost more than the car itself! find a parts festiva and go that route. Ask someone one here for a fender

Oh I know! Its just proof to him, I'm going to the yard a fully intact yellow one is sitting, I may just respray the whole car, I was raised doing body work, and my dad will help, I really want to do a swap right away to. I would drive it as is until summer when I will have money! (just got asked to work 40 hour work weeks in the summer, I'm 17 coaching gymnastics at the ymca lol)

Well as of right now I have a 88, and I want to do either the b-6 or b-6t. Tomorrow I am going to Alaskafestivaguy's house to work on one of his many Festiva's. He's gonna give me a fuel injected Festiva for helping. On that one, I don't know.

                        How about yours?

$27 a month!? I almost passed out when I saw that. I pay about $120 a month... That's with a 20% discount! Damn BC and it's government car insurance!

Yeah im like 238 a year or something. It's just liability, no point on having full coverage on my Festiva. Big difference coming from my dodge truck at 250 a month!
