  • Anybody Remember Me?

    Hi Festiva People!
A couple years ago, I disappeared from FF.com after becoming Festivaless. I've missed talking to you guys, and I miss having a Festiva. I've been lurking the past few days, mostly in the for sale section, and I thought I'd make my presence known. I'm sorry I haven't been around much lately. You guys deserved better. Everyone here was so great to me.

I'll be in the market for Festiva #3, hopefully by spring, so I'll be around more, if you guys will have me.

Welcome back, good luck on finding you another festiva. It's hard to get them out of your blood entirely.

I remember you, you were living in Detroit with a super nice car (white 88-89L w/ A/C) that got rear ended. Welcome back, good to see ya!

Welcome back! I remember Dudley... and yeah, like Thom said, you'll never get it out of your blood. I've been without one for close to a year now. But it never goes away. You'll find one
          No festiva for me ATM...

Yep! And you guys drove out from Clarkston and had dinner with me, and helped me get my car drivable again. I can't tell you how much that meant to me. You meet such great people on this forum.

I drove that car for another few months while the engine slowly and painfully lost compression to the point of being undrivable. If the body was still straight I would have replaced the engine, but I just couldn't justify a swap on a wrecked car. I eventually gave it to a coworker who parted it out. I know its rust free doors ended up on another car. I was depressed about losing that car for a long time. I felt like it was time to get past Festivas, but they're tough to get out of your system.

BAHAHAHAHAHHAA! That has to be the most inconceivable thing to compute in my festiva brainwashed mind!

Seriously welcome home. Now get busy scoring number 3. I just scored number 22 a couple of weeks ago.

Hey you're only 40 minutes from me. Sweet. I had thought about selling my "extra" Festiva but decided I couldn't let it go. Otherwise I'd love to help you out. Just two weeks ago I was at the Henry Ford Museum too.

I live literally 3 miles up the road from the Henry Ford. Ain't it a small world! My first Festiva was an aqua '92. I find aqua Festivas bring good luck. I make a wish every time I see one.

I'm not afraid to drive to NC to pick up a Festiva. I'll need to accumulate some cash over the next few weeks before Festiva shopping proper can begin, however. Thanks for the tip.

Thanks for the welcomes everybody. It's great to be back.
