  • new rear struts

Well, I finally got around to replacing my rear struts with new Monroe Struts for an Aspire. I have read up on here before doing it and was seriously dreading the task I had in front of me, due to the issues I saw everyone else had. Well to my surprise the only issue I had was removing the tire's because for some reason the lugs were extra tight and I actually scratched one of them, the other was trying to line the new shock up with the holes on the bottom. Bolts came right out with out cutting and the back nut stayed right in place.

I really like the stance that it gives it, and the clearance on the rear tires. Later down the road I will do the front to level it back out. Once the weather clears up I will be replacing the master cylider since it wanted to start leaking and the brakes gave out while the wife was driving, lucky she didnt hit anything. Hopefully all will go well with that job.

What's the problem with the rear struts? Removing and installing them is as easy as it comes.

        Struts

When you live in the rust belt, corrosion is not your friend but a torch is.
