  • Festiva Spoting

Well Iv'e had my 'Tiva for about a month now & have not seen any others in my area. I travel all over the Tampa Bay area ,St pete., Clearwater, Sarasota, Bradenton, Brandon ,& Lakeland. No 'tiva sightings. 'tiva desert! Ialson travel north on US 19 as far as Wiki Wachee, still no 'Tivas. I feel lonely!
If it don't fit, use a bigger hammer!

Convince your friends to get one! There were absolutely no festiva's where I am besides me and my buddy's dad . Now I have convinced 4 people to get a Festy and the town is starting to notice!

Wow, you guys should here. It's literally nothing for me to be out and about during the day, and see 8 or 10 different Festivas.

There are actually a suprising amount of Festivas in my area. There is a GL Sport right down the street and not to far from that one is a nice yellow one. There is a aqua one with a bra rounding around. There is an older fellow who has a really nice white GL here, and there is also a 88/89 burgundy, 88/89 charcoal, and a 88/89 blue one that is also really nice. And the surrounding towns seem to have alot also. It really is suprising of the amount of Festivas around here!

Almost none in my area. None in junkyards, none on the road. I'm quite unique here. My theory is that they were cheap so people bought them as work vehicles and they all got destroyed. There is one blue one that I know of, and one green one with white wheels, and one red one, and that's it. I've not seen the blue one in a long time.
Any difference that makes no difference is no difference.

Wow, things must be different on your end of the state. They are all over the place here. Maybe they're not actually the State car, just the county car.

I've seen several Festivas around! A few of them are NICE looking. Custom paint job and tinted windows nice. There were a few people I honked to that honked back, and one kid who had one ducked down in his seat when I passed him and honked, and all I could think of was that he must have been embarrassed to have a teal Festiva festooned with pink triangles, but he doesn't know what he's missing! I haven't seen him since. Hopefully my Spring FestivaL will bring them out of the woodwork!

Must be. I know one Festiva nut who has probably 8-10 of them in various conditions(mostly parts cars), but not counting him, not much at all. I went to the local yard probably 4 years ago and asked if they had any and they had just sent them all to scrap the day before. Since then, nothing.

No more sad stories! You'll make me cry!!!

Whenever I visit the Kenova, Ceredo area and then go to the family graveyard up around Lavalette, I don't see many any more, if ever. What parts of WVa are you and Bat in?

I do know of one black '88 or '89 sitting in someone's yard up by the other graveyard route though. Some day I may stop and inquire. That is, some day when I have my trailer/hauling setup perfected so I can snatch and go.

I see one maybe twice a month esp if Im working the day shift. Its a blue one heading in the opposite direction on the interstate. I never get acknowledged. Ive done a daily search on CL for years. Use to be some on there but its rare anymore. Save yours if you have one, the supply is dwindling.
