What do you do when you see another Festy?

Seeing another Festy around here is like seeing a 4 leaf clover. Festivas are so rare here, that I'm forever getting "what kind of car is that?!?" everywhere I go.
Recently, I had to have it towed (ate yet another rear wheel bearing). The tow company had no idea what I was talking about, so they sent out their biggest tow rig. People were laughing themselves silly watching my car get hooked to this monsterous tow truck. The driver said it felt like nothing was there.
When it got to the garage, all the employees came out to see it. Only the owner knew what it was.Last edited by JPT; 02-13-2011, 06:26 PM.Festiva: Because even my dog can build a Honda.

I have a CJ7 & a Festiva. The jeep wave is for real between CJ drivers or Wranglers with mods. Festy waves are nearly non-existant.
I did pull up next to one nearly identical to mine one day. Both the other driver and I shared a pause with looks of amazement before a quick wave right before the light turned green.

Did I mention that I saw the car you bought on CL? I was so tempted to buy it, but I have no place to keep another car.Festiva: Because even my dog can build a Honda.

I have only had one Festiva drive past and wave at me. It was an older couple in a red Festiva and they looked really excited to see another Festiva. It seems like every other Festiva dosen't realize, acknowledge or care about other Festivas.'90 LX

Yeah you did. I guess I was fated to buy this car. Originally I was looking into a CRX, but when my friend saw the ad for the Festy he said it looked like an old school transformer with its paintjob. So after discovering the potential and the cool idea of driving around an autobot, I went for it and bought her.
