I get a message that the domain is no longer registered as of 2-12? I swear I logged in there yesterday...have the bodacious Go Daddy babes hijacked our 323 relatives?

We were almost in the same boat..... When I took over ff.com the previous owner had it registered through register.com. When I got it we changed everything over and it automatically charged my visa.. I got a new card in '05 and the domain was expiring on Feb 16th.. I tried over and over to log onto their site and pay the bill with my new card.. not a chance. It seems that everything was changed over except the actual register.com account. So I couldn't log on. Finaly after 45minutes on hold, on the 16th... I was able to pay them.. close huh... Now I have to get a message to Rich and see if he can help resolve this.. But it's good for another year...

Just out of curiosity what does the site cost to operate if that is avail to the public .?

It's no big secret.. 384.00. a year for hosting and 35 a year for domain registration..

Edit: I know there is cheaper hosting out there, but the host is local and if something is messed up I can drive to their office and they're on the 12th floor. Most others are fly by night bs artists..

I can't see them leaving the site down, its a big site with alot of traffic. Its probably just a small renewal problem!

So, my domain has expired - problem is it wasn't registered under my name and
when I 'inherited' the site, I wasn't provided with any username/passwords for
the godaddy account (where the domain was registered). So, there's nothing I can
do. I put in a backorder on the domain under my name, but it won't be available
until 42 days after the domain expired (which was on Feb. 12). So I guess the
sites going to be down for a while...but for those of you on the list who also
visited my site, rest assured that it will be back.
