At last check, mid and premium were over 4 and reg was close behind. Mind you this is on the South end of the Island where the gas stations extort even more, same island 40 miles north is sometimes almost 40cents cheaper.

Shot up ANOTHER ten cents per..... That makes a .25 cent increase in like a week

Here is an interesting map. I'm assuming the amount of taxes changes the prices so drastically just like in Canada. In what is called the lower mainland it is divided into sections, kinda like different counties' but smaller. There is about 4-5 that are called the GVRD (greater Vancouver regional district). Translink, the public transportation Corp, is for some reason allowed to tax us on all kinds of things including gas. This can change the price up to 15 cents a litre. Roughly 50 cents a gallon. We still get hosed up here but that just adds insult to injury. With my F-150, crossing the border can mean big savings.
I have a roughly 32 gallon tank. Hitting up the station across the line is usually $1.25-1.40 a gallon cheaper. Do the math.

1). They kill the economy & then noone buys
2). Alternative fuel/electric cars become more of a competitive market.
The fall mirrors the Dow.
You can lay the two charts on each other and they match really well. Trade-able well.
It's like the two are indicators of each other.
