      during the gas spike of 2008, i was driving an e150 cargo van as my daily. with a 35 gallon tank at 5 bucks a gallon it was 135 bucks to fill...... every 4 days

        In 2008, we had 6 Hummers sitting on our lot so long that the batteries were dead, the tires went flat and they had cobwebs on them.

        Couldn't move Suburbans either.

          3.95 for brand name premium last night. So I bought a festiva yesterday. Will update when i get over to my moms where i am "hiding" it until its a runner should not take me long, even if the engine is screwed up, i got 2 of them too

              $4.99 for diesel i just saw yesterday in Long Beach going to get my festiva. I don't own a burner now but whoa.

              I like http://www.gasbuddy.com for trying to scope out stations along routes I take. Usually the stations not next to freeways are cheaper but not always.

                Ohh look, you're all complaining a bit early it will cost over $5 per gal. This i guarantee!

                    Gas (Non-Ethanol) is close to $4 now. Last week, it was just over $3. I'm converting my engine to run on cow poop!

                      3.40 on the drive home *early* this morning. I'm SO glad I sold the 10mpg range rover. The fuel bill was killing me when it was in the mid 2 dollar range.

                        I ahd a 97 dodge ram, and a lead foot. I got 9mpg in that thing, then I bought my festy to save money. Needless to say, I no longer have the truck

                          i just filled my trailblazer, 19.8 gallons (i think its 22 gal full) well i set the trip from last time i drove it, i got 273 miles so that equals like 14 mpg!! im not happy, but i also have remote start and have been warming it up in the morning for 10 minutes

                                The trailblazer is costing you one dollar every four miles @ $3.50/gallon
