'88LX, everything is there except the underseat tray and the cargo cover. Tint, a nice aftermarket CD player, and some decent ASA 13" wheels... Dual drilled and aspire swap compatible. I like them, but the tires on them aren't much good
No festiva for me ATM...

More pics
So here's the story on the car. Saw a CL ad for it and immediately fell in love with the wheels (without even knowing they were dual drilled) and also noticed the tasty spoiler (which I figured might be banged up but still a neat find). The ad said "needs transmission." I figured hey, perfect candidate to swap in the Auto thats in my busted glass car so my wife will have a spare car and I'll have a clean titled EFI shell to play around with when the weather warms up. Then we'd have matching (sort of) cars.
So I called the guy to go look at it yesterday afternoon, I was planning on heading over to my parents where I keep the van and trailer and hauling it back. He called me back, and come to find out the trans isn't toast, its just got a squealing throwout bearing and 4th gear was toast. So called up a buddy that owes me a few miles worth of driving and he and I and my wife loaded up in his car to head down there.
About 2 and a half hours later (140 miles almost all interstate) we quickly decided to buy the car. Cranks right up and runs quite well, drove it around the neighborhood and indeed 4th was completely gone, but 1-2-3-5 were alive and well. Since it would be mostlyl interstate I decided that was good enough for me We headed 5 mins down the road for some tasty applebees, then hit the highway. Made it all the way through Atlanta on all the interstates ok, then about 30 miles from home on a 65MPH divided highway it decided that I'd done enough 5th gear driving, and 5th became endless revs . Oh well, reduced speed to about 50 and kept it hovering around 4k in 3rd. 15 miles from home got pulled over (it was around 10PM at this point) for no tag. I handed him my license and the freshly signed title and he ran the VIN and sent us on our way. Got back home and got some much needed rest
Now I've taken the day off of work hopefully to complete the trans/radiator swap before I have to be at my other job at 5 tonight Good times all aroundLast edited by htchbck; 02-28-2011, 05:58 AM.No festiva for me ATM...
