My 2 new festy projects

I LOVE BARTERING!!!! Look at what it gets me!, lol
Here is how it started....
Talked to a guy about a year ago and he was wanting to know a place to get 12" tires. I told him and we quit talking, 6 months ago He called me and said he bought 3 festys and needed more tires, then we quit talking.
The other night he called me and said He has a set of 12"alloys with caps for $30! I called him back and he offered me a GREAT deal!

He has a 89lx auto(rear damage) that runs and drives.
He wants the motor and trans put into another 89(5speed) fuel injected?!?! festy cause he knows this motor/trans is good.

As payment for doing the engine/trans swap, I will get the shell of the 89lx
with smoothies,tilt,A/C,(rails under pass seat but no trey).etc
AND IT COMES WITH A WHITE TACH CLUSTER!!!!! Heck Yea!!!!
And I will also get the green 93L5speed that runs and drives with A/C!
It will be the twin to the 93L I got now!

I may have a use for the smooth lights on the back of the 89'. You know why too.

Man, another great Festiva deal! Just another great thing about them. There just seems to be so many great deals to be had. Congrats man!

This is where it all starts

I have to swap the auto trans and engine into the "good" body car.
Basicly make 1 good "auto" car out of the 2 and I keep whats left!
The 89lx(auto) was built 8-6-89 and is EFI.
The other "L plus" build date is 12-26-88 5speed EFI.(normal?)

The 89lx's dizzy has 2 hoses coming off it kinda like the carbie cars have?
And the fuel rail kinda looks different.?.?....

Besides the ecu,motor,trans/linkage,dizzy....
Will I need to swap the harness???? I know its a 89lx, but cant I just swap
the few sensors on the motor(dizzy,ecu,intake,etc) and be good to go?

but the end result will be worth it.

Finally got it running and assembled and sent it back to its owner......
It looks way better in person!(for those who like brown interior)
















It took tons of effort removing every single piece of interior and cleaning it, then reinstalling everything from 2 cars to make 1.....
