  • Paint the steelies?/ Go after stock alloys?

Are the stock alloys worth going after considering they are still a 12 inch wheel? If not, what color for the steel wheels on that brick red color circa 1988?
    I was thinking charcoal metallic.

My white 88 came with alloys, they looked nice till I started modding my car. I painted mine gunmetal grey and they looked okay.

I traded those for a set of steelies and have changed the color of them at least three times. I have a copper color on mine and it looks amazing. The charcoal would look good on steelies for your car

88 Festy L (The White Thunder)
91 L came and gone, owned only 2 days

I'd like to find a set of "alloys" in good shape for the right price. I intend on keeping mine close to stock with the 12" wheels.

The car im looking at has the alloys but I cant decide if I want to keep them for winter tires or not. But if I do they will prob be painted bronze.
