  • deleting air conditioning

my Festiva is a 92 efi with an automatic and a/c

i don't use a/c, but the festiva has it.

other than the obvious compressor/condenser/lines etc removal from the engine bay, what all is involved in deleting everything from the inside?

is there any interest in the removed parts?

I'm new to this festiva world, and if things are rare, I'd rather share them with those that want them, rather than hacking it all apart and junking the stuff for scrap.

i haven't removed anything yet, and have no idea what to ask for the whole system. also, i assume i'll need a new non a/c control panel, and in thinking, the heater box/evap core box might be different

Who needs A/C? Just roll down the windows and open the wings.

The only difference in the control panel is the ac push button, and the non ac cars have a duct tube in place where the ac core is under the dash.

So the evap core is separate of the main heater matrix assembly. That's good to know
