It's kind of funny when you think about the crushing cars. If you weren't there, just think of all the usable parts people need for their cars & it's just getting thrown away.
It reminds me of a '00 Mercedes I saw the other day. It was pretty much stripped & going to be crushed, but I looked under it & it still had the ZF differential.
I grabbed it....AND the guy charged me $23 for it; the diffs only go for $2,300 new! They were just going to crush a perfectly good part. WTF? Crushing cars is evil.

Um....if you haven't gone yet...would you see if they have the horn or speedometer cable intact? PM me if you can...there aren't many decent junkyards in my area so it's tough to find parts. The guy who owns the small salvage yard nearby never even heard of our cars.Last edited by chaosdrifter06; 03-08-2011, 11:35 PM.

how much do you think the JY would give them for the car? maybe if i offer to pay that amount or a hair more they would give it to me. no not driveable unless you get a lost title i think it was one of those left on the side of the road and hauled in deals cause engine is no good. but still rather have the whole car. It's Not Much To Look At, But It's Still Funny To See The Look On Their Faces When They Catch Back Up To You At The Next Light!
