On an earlier thread, I was bragging how I had put 25,000 miles on my '92 Festy L 5spd, in 6 months. 180 miles per day, with no problems.
Until last week.
Lost the throw-out bearing on the clutch. Crap. Funny, huh?
Oh well. I had planned on re-doing a bunch of front-end components, later this spring. Just hit 100,000 miles on the odometer, and wanted to be proactive. Seems wise to get cracking on it now. Planning on new struts, strut mounts, sway bar bushings (the good ones, from FMS), bearings all around. New clutch, too. Gonna rip her all apart, and make her like new again (so the daily punishment can continue  ). Wife thought it was funny, until all these boxes of new components started arriving on the doorstep. I'm just now starting the project. Thanks to FestivaMotorsport, RockAuto, and Ebay. Love the internet!
Thought all of you would get a kick out of my situation. Kinda falls into the "serves him right" category :confused5:
Cheers,
SB
